Question: Where can I find out about rates for children on a non union feature film advertised as scale/deferred pay.
My child was recently cast as a principal actor on a non union feature film. The casting notice listed the project as scale/deferred. Is there somewhere I can find out the rate for a child as I don't feel the filmmakers are being forthright about the rate and the contracts. Further is there any agency etc that regulates non union feature film products? Do the rules vary for union and non union when it comes to children? Thank you in advance for helping me unravel this mess.
