Backstage.com is a necessary tool for the performing artist where they can search for casting notices and industry news.
The newly redesigned backstage.com introduces new features throughout the website including:

With the new backstage.com, users can run Advanced Casting Searches to customize search results to fit an individual’s needs. Performers can find casting opportunities from across the U.S. and create personalized Saved Searches to search for new notices that match interests with a single click. They can create multiple Casting/Job Alerts to have automated alert-agents search the Back Stage casting and jobs database and send the user the newest results via email on a schedule that fits their busy career. Then they can quickly apply to casting/job notices with just a few clicks.
With the new backstage.com Multimedia Resume system, users can create one or multiple resumes, and upload a variety of photos, videos, audio reels, links, documents, credits, and skills to each resume. Unlike other casting websites, Back Stage doesn’t charge actors extra hidden fees for uploading a large variety of media files. In addition to using a Multimedia Resume to apply to an unlimited number of casting notices, users can also email their resume to anyone they’d like, and include media-enhanced resumes in Back Stage’s online Talent Database – searched by over 20,000 casting directors, directors, and producers every year – for no extra charge.
The enhanced Actors Yellow Pages provides better organization and free posting options for companies to list their products and services. This will provide the community with a wide selection of options so they can easily find the tools they need to advance their careers.
